To be honest, I purchased this lipstick mainly because I needed a cheap item to get super saver shipping. However, I'm always looking for a good red lipstick, so I thought I would try this one. My ethnic background is most Italian, so I've got slightly olive skin that can make some reds look orange-y; I prefer blue-toned reds.The shade of this lipstick I chose was "Vampy." From the photo, it looks like the perfect shade! In person, it is nice, but a bit more pink-y with *slight* orange undertones. I would also say that it's a bit brighter than I had wanted, although for the photo, I applied with a pretty light hand. One thing I will say is that for a cheap lipstick, I was VERY impressed with the formulation! It goes on extremely smoothly and has much better staying power than the average lipstick. So, if you are willing to take a chance on how the color might look in person, I would definitely recommend this lipstick.
