Poco producto y no tiene medidor y ups nunca lo dejo en mi casa tuve que buscarlo a la oficina que queda a casi 2 hrasI use ascorbic acid powder to add an extra tart pop to my gummies. This stuff is perfect! Measures and mixes in easily.RecommendDefinitely tart! It's like a supertang tartness, almost a sourness to it. It's very easy to overpower though, and gives an interesting kick to whatever it's mixed with. It works well in tea, coffee, and smoothies. It can do weird things with baked goods though, we're having a lot of mixed results attempting that. Works great for beverages at leastUp until now I had been using citric acid when I wanted to add tartness to a food or drink, because it is so convenient to use. However, using this ascorbic acid form of vitamin C as a replacement for citric acid has several benefits. In addition to just making things more tart, you can use it to preserve fruits and vegetables after cutting. A very light sprinkle of this product on sliced apples, for instance, will prevent them from browning for quite a while, which makes it perfect for use in fruit salads and such. You can give a kick of tartness to smoothies that also brings some health benefits. You might even be able to replace your daily vitamin C pills entirely this way. I'm very pleased with the quality of this product, and the convenience of having it available almost makes me a bit giddy; I will keep the citric acid on hand, but right now I'm not sure when I would choose it over this product. This product is pure Vitamin C. It has a tart citrusy flavor and dissolves pretty well in plain water. This product is non GMO and vegan. Vitamin C is a superfood that is involved in many important processes of the human body. It is essential to a healthy immune system and helps in collagen production. I have been taking Vitamin C for years because of my allergies. My MD suggested I take it on a regular basis to help alleviate the symptoms. I have been using a buffered version and this is pure Vitamin C so we’ll see if it upsets my stomach. Dr Linus Pauling did studies on Vitamin C and the immune system and suggested that everyone should take at least 1000mg per day and if you suffer ANY type of illness or sub normal health-you should increase that amount. The RDA of Vitamin C is less than 100mg per day-just enough to keep you from getting scurvy! The directions say to measure accurately in milligrams and I do not have a milligram scale so I took their word that 1000mg was about 1/4 teaspoon. The powder dissolves better in water than my buffered type and has a tart-my husband made a face when he tasted it-lemony flavor that is not unpleasant. I won’t say it is delicious because the only way I could say that is if I could eat a lemon straight up. I can’t. It is not as tart as a fresh lemon but it is tart. I mix mine with about a half cup of water and drink it down. You could use more water or mix it into a smoothie to hide the tartness-but it doesn’t bother me so I don’t. I will continue to use this product until it is gone to see if I feel better or the same as my old Vitamin C. I feel better already just knowing I am being proactive about my health! I would recommend this product to anyone looking to improve their immunities! This product caught my eye because, I have a couple of bread recipes that call for Ascorbic Acid, but I was so impressed with the amount of available Vit C, that I decided to experiment with beverages. White grape juice is tasty, but sweet, a bit of Ascorbic Acid stirred in, added a very welcome bit of tartness. The next time I have some bland apples that I want to bake with, I will add this powder instead of lemon juice. This product will yield many uses from one bag, I look forward to trying it with more items, while increasing my Vit C intakeThis was my first time buying vitamin C in powder form. It is easy to use! Just a little (1/4 of a tsp ) is needed if using as a supplement. I add it to my smoothies or to any beverage. The powder can be used in baking and in any recipe, really. It's just pure vitamin C with no other ingredients, so it is natural enough to use in homemade beauty recipes and cosmetic, too. I never thought to buy vitamin C in this form before, and I am glad I did! I will buy it this way again; the value is not bad. The price seems to come out feasibly and seems to work out the same or maybe even better compared to buying vitamin C in pill or wafer form. Plus, most of the vitamin C wafers I've tried have artificial flavors added to them or have a horrible after taste, and the gummies have sugar. Vitamin C pills can be huge too ( or I may be thinking about calcium pills). Either way, I like that I can control what I add to the powder , control how much I add, and control how I add it ; plus, there is no aftertaste or added flavors needed. The brand comes from a family own business and the powder is organic. I would buy again even if it seems a little pricey, but I really don't have any prices to compare it to since I am a newby to vitamin C ( ascorbic acid ) powder; so overall, the verdict --- happy with this product!!This powdery vitamin c supplement may be added to water or recipes. This review represents my opinion, on the date(s) it was written, of a free product from Amazon Vine Program.
